Albert Bandura- Hypodermic Needle Theory

The  Hypodermic needle theory  is a linear communication  theory  that suggests that media messages are injected directly into the brains of passive audiences. In Nazi Germany in the 1930's and during World War 2 films were used to 'inject' propaganda ideas promoting the Nazi cause to the German audience. To what extent does Assassins Creed III: Liberation present a threat to the audience both targeted and secondary?  The target audience will be used to the violent images seen in the game because they are usually loyal fans to the brand and will have played similar games before. where as the secondary audience might not be as used to the violence because they have not played games similar to this before. The Bobo Doll Experiment The doll that was used in the experiment was intended to be hit and bounce back up again which could suggest that the toy is supposed to be hit and kicked by the children and they were simply being playful rather than violent. ...
