Albert Bandura- Hypodermic Needle Theory

The Hypodermic needle theory is a linear communication theory that suggests that media messages are injected directly into the brains of passive audiences. In Nazi Germany in the 1930's and during World War 2 films were used to 'inject' propaganda ideas promoting the Nazi cause to the German audience.

To what extent does Assassins Creed III: Liberation present a threat to the audience both targeted and secondary?
The target audience will be used to the violent images seen in the game because they are usually loyal fans to the brand and will have played similar games before. where as the secondary audience might not be as used to the violence because they have not played games similar to this before.

The Bobo Doll Experiment
The doll that was used in the experiment was intended to be hit and bounce back up again which could suggest that the toy is supposed to be hit and kicked by the children and they were simply being playful rather than violent.

Game feels completely rushed and the story felt boring. Only played it for the first time to know the story but don't think I will play again due to the buggy mechanics. The main character didn't really connect with me as others like Ezio and Connor. Pretty disappointed to be honest, felt like this game had so much potential, if it wasn't released for the Vita and truly worked on good by the developers.
Favorite Game of all time, this series is inclusive of just one Templar master but Aveline remains an awesome character. It is on the Playstation Vita the favorite console so far in the 8th Generations of Consoles in 2019 to 2020.
No compelling story (sad to even call it a story), terrible accents, voice overs are worse then skyrims two voice actors. Predictable game mechanics and the map isn't big so how can it look so bad? Hmm

Draw up a detailed pen portrait for the target audience for Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Think age, gender, class, lifestyle, cultural capital…
Younger male audience. Middle/upper class because the games console, the game and the merchandise of the game is all very expensive. How does Assassin's Creed III: Liberation attract/target its audiences (primary and secondary, niche ('core') and generalised ('casual'?) ?
The product is able to keep it's core fanbase because they have loyal fans and the main features of the game very rarely change. They are also able to target a secondary audience by changing the main character from a male to a female.

In the poster we can see a perfect example of Richard Dyer's theory of stereotypes which states that: Stereotypes are used in media products as a short cut for producers who want to represent

Zoella- Audience (Clay Shirky- End Of An Audience)

Zoella- Audience Zoella's target audience: Gender: Female Age: 7-13 Ethnicity: White, English Social-economic status: Middle class Zoella does not have a mass audience as she targets a niche audience, a specific group of people.  Emotive content- the show appeals to its female audience through narratives that engage with subject matter emotionally. Zoella continuously tells us how she 'feels' about the problems she faces. Zoella foregrounds stereotypical female based activities in her presentation: fashion, make-up, relationships. Costume stereotypically feminine- feminine colour palette deployed in mise-en-scene use of pets and pet orientated references (stereotypical little dog). Presenter constructs a version of ideal beauty- highly stylised, lot of make-up, attention pain to outfits. Intimate confessional tone- creates a female character. A quiet/ passive presentation style that fits with the target audience's expectations and female pres

Representation In Attitude

How far are the representations constructed in the set texts of Zoella and Attitude stereotypical? -Underline key terms -Define key terms Stereotypes- A construction of ideas surrounding a person or a group that has been widely accepted by society. these are created when knowledge is lacking or unattainable and the substitution of thoughts and opinions is implemented.  This often leads to misjudgement and unfair discrimination towards certain groups.
