Hegemony- Dominance of one group or person through coercion and consent.

Key Theory 8- The feminist theory- Lisbet Van Zoonen.

The idea that gender is a construct through discourse, and that it's meaning varies according to cultural and historical context.
The idea that the display of women's bodies as objects to be looked at is a core element of western patriarchal culture.
The idea that mainstream culture the visual and narrative codes that are used to construct the male body as spectacle differ from those used to objectifying the female body.

Objectification- In social philosophy, objectification is the act of treating a person, or sometimes an animal, as an object or a thing. It is part of dehumanisation, the act of disavowing the humanity of others.

Sexualisation- Sexualization is to make something sexual in character or quality, or to become aware of sexuality, especially in relation to men and women. Sexualization is linked to sexual objectification.

The article from the Daily Mail talks about Bianca Gascoigne and her recent cosmetic surgery. The piece talks about important matters such as her battle with body dysmorphia and wanting to feel good a her own body. In some ways this is an important message for young people reading because it will make them want to feel comfortable in their own bodies and understand that felling good about themselves is ok. On the other hand, some girls might read tis and believe that they need to get plastic surgery to change the way they loom in order to appear attractive.
