Les revenants uses hermeneutic code in order to create mystery and interest for the audience. This creates questions in the heads of the audience, making them want to watch the rest of the series in the hopes of getting some answers.

The group or place or issue on which a media product is focusing.

The media language the media product uses in order to present these groups or issues.

The ideological perspective about the group or issue being created within the product

The impact of this ideological perspective on the target audience.

Camille- (10:45- 12:15)
Camille rushes home after the bus crash because she knows that her mum would be worried about her. she does not seem to realise who much time has passed when she comes home and think she has only been missing for a matter of hours.

When Camille returns how she begins to make sandwich and has a shower without really talking to her mother. This confuses the audience because we aren't able to understand how Camille is so calm after being involved in the accident.

We can also interpret that Camille is lazy and messy because when she makes the sandwich she tells her mum that she will clean up the mess she made later. As well as this, when she is about to have a shower she asks her mother to find her bathrobe for her rather than getting it herself.

It could also be said that Camille is abrupt and rude towards her mother as she pushes past her and doesn't allow her mother to talk to her after not seeing her in such a long time.

Costume stereotypically feminine- feminine colour palette deployed in mise-en-scene use of pets and pet orientated references (stereotypical little dog). Presenter constructs a version of ideal beauty- highly stylised, lot of make-up, attention pain to outfits. Intimate confessional tone- creates a female character. A quiet/ passive presentation style that fits with the target audience's expectations and female pres

Representation In Attitude
